Paris is five times published Author, Speaker, Media Personality, and the vivacious industry-changing former CEO of Planet Cake. Before coaching, Paris bought the tiny cake shop in 2003, it was in this business that she discovered her natural talent for blue ocean strategy. In a crowded and noisy marketplace she transformed Planet Cake into a #1 national brand and seven-figure business. Planet Cake was known as 'the cake maker to the stars' had celebrity clients such as Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Celine Dion, and Katy Perry. Paris launched her cake decorating school in 2004. The school went on to become the largest hobbyist school in the southern hemisphere and taught over 6000 students; producing some of the world's most recognisable cake stars.
Paris has published five books with Murdoch Books translated into seven languages and sold worldwide. She has appeared across a multitude of media, both television and print. Paris and her team had their own reality TV show 'Planet Cake' hosted by the Lifestyle Food Network on Foxtel and subsequently distributed in over 20 countries by BBC Worldwide. She won an Astra Award for her TV show and was a finalist for Ernst & Young's 'Entrepreneur of the Year' Award.
Before entrepreneurship Paris worked in stockbroking and recruitment and studied law, she is currently writing her sixth book 'Business Wisdom from someone who Baked & Fried.' Paris has been a regular commentator, and keynote speaker on entrepreneurship, blue ocean strategy, brand creation, and how to create a career and business with meaning.
